Training the Touch Command

I started training a new command to Diesel; "touch." I'll just repeat what I put in my Youtube description: Major fail on my part as I wasn't quick enough at times with the marker word.

Yup. Major fail training session. I was too slow for him and didn't "mark" a concrete offer. It was sloppy and pathetic. But I think he understands the basics of it? Like that nose-to-palm means treat. Luckily for me, I took a video of it so I can go back and see what I did wrong with him and try to fix it for tonight/tomorrow's session.

As you'll be able to see in the video, he is scratching a lot. He is covered in fleas, and I am still awaiting my Comfortis prescription to come in. Probably going to take a few weeks, so until then, tons of baths for the D-man.

Back to the training, he barks a lot out of confusion, so ignore that. The good thing about that though is that when I'm ready to teach him "speak" it'll be easy for me, haha. Hopefully though, in 3 days, Diesel will understand that nose-to-palm gets a treat, since he kinda didn't get it, but kinda did? Thanks to my beautiful accuracy with the marker word (-coughfailcough-).
